December is by far my favorite month, for one it's Christmas time! And it's also the month we were married (:
This year we celebrated our FIRST anniversary, we went to Park City and relaxed for a few days and it was so nice to get a little break from all the business of life. I still can't believe it has already been an entire year!! It went by so quick and we have both grown so much, it has been by far the best year of my life and I look forward to many many more.
This Christmas I have to say, I spoiled Wesley pretty good.. He got a lot of new clothes, a sander, a lithium ion drill, a new wallet, nose hair trimmer (haha), tons of treats in his stocking, and from his parents a camp chef! He got me some new clothes, lots of bath and body works goodies, a really really soft blanket, and a new purse. Christmas has been good to us this year. I feel like I notice as I get older how people forget about Christ during Christmas.. They get caught up in the presents and the worldly objects and forget what really matters. I always want to make sure we remember what the reason really is and for me it's about doing things for other people that makes the spirit of Christ so prominent during this season.
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, we sure did! And Happy New Year!

The Peach Tree
So, for those of you who don't know... W E opened a store!! Crazy i know.. Wesley has always had the dream to one day have a business of his own, he went to school to study business administration and it's just sorta his niche in life. When we were dating we talked about it like "One day we will open a store"... We never imaged "one day" would turn into us actually doing it our first year of marriage! It all just sort of fell into place and we couldn't be happier about how it has turned out so far, it's really neat and we are so very blessed!
So that's my excuse for not keeping up with this blog, but i have no excuse now that my job is to sit in front of a computer all day... ( :
Basically The Peach Tree is a consignment type store, we have booths that we rent out to different vendors and crafters (who are all local! Right here in Box Elder County!). We have home decor, ties, baby stuff, jewelry, crafts, scentsy and alot of other neat stuff! So if you haven't yet, you need to come see it!!

Christmas, New Years & Married Life!
Let me just start by saying, i knew i would be bad at this blogging thing, but for the record its not my fault.. Wesley and I don't have internet at our apartment yet, which makes it hard to keep up,
but where were we..
Being married during the holidays is so much different, actually everything is so much different when you're married! It's all so much better!!
For Christmas Eve we went to my family's get together. Every year we go to my sister's and have home-made lasagna and salad and we watch everyone (mostly the nieces and nephews) open their presents from everyone except santa. Wesley and I made cute christmas cake pops for everyone this year =) I think it should be a new tradition, they are yummy. For Christmas Day, Wesley and I woke up early to open presents from each other!
I got Wesley a hoodie, money bank (for all his spare change laying around,it even keeps count), candy, A&W Barbecue Sauce, and some manly body washes from bath and body works.. And Wesely spoiled me, he makes me presents look lame. He got me a new I pod =) a goo goo dolls c.d. and lots of candy! After our Christmas morning together, we spent the rest of the day at Wesley's parents house spending time with his family and cheking out all of their new gifts.
It was a great first Christmas together and we are looking forward to many many more!!
For New Years Eve we had no idea what to do, i'm pretty sure nothing was going on.. and Wesley had to work late. My niece Brooklyn had been asking me to come over, so when he got off we headed to my sisters house and spent the evening with their family. And i finally got my first new years kiss, from my husband!
I was talking to my grandma the other day and she was asking me how married life was, she started going on about it and said something like this " Being married is a whole new world, and you all the sudden run out of time"
She is exactly right! I've been thinking about how there is not enough time in a day, and i thought it was bad before I was married!
We have been married for exactly 1 month and 1 week today =)
It has gone by way too fast. but,
it has been Incredible!

Mr. & Mrs. HADDOCK!
Well, we can't believe its all over after all the planning and preparation.
BUT our wedding was perfect! =)
Everything turned out just as we wanted, it couldn't have been better.
We are so blessed and so pleased with how everything turned out and
we can't wait to go back to the temple!
(pictures coming soon)
For our honeymoon we stayed in Park City for the weekend, and Wesley got the nicest hotel ever! It was so nice to just get away and have time to relax, we did a lot of shopping and eating. Haha. I kinda wish we could've stayed for a month!
(This is the only picture we took the whole time, we forgot we had our camera)
We had such a good time =) we even went to church together for the first time as a married couple while we were there!
When we got home on monday we went to temple square with some of our friends and out to eat at olive garden, we got a few pictures..
Being married is great, and we couldn't be happier!
